Leadership & Governance
The West Norfolk Swimming Club is overseen by a committee elected each year at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Acting in accordance with the Club Constitution, these dedicated volunteers freely give their time to ensure the club is run effectively and in the best interests of all members.
The committee’s responsibilities are wide-ranging and include finances, membership, welfare, pool hire, liaison with external organizations, organizing competitions, discipline, sponsorship, social events, and providing ongoing support for the coaching team. By meeting monthly, the committee addresses both immediate operational matters as well as longer-term strategic planning—ensuring the club continues to thrive throughout the swimming year.
