SwimmingResults.org: Official UK Swimming Times and Rankings
If you’re a competitive swimmer in the UK, you’ll likely come across SwimmingResults.org, often referred to as “Rankings,” at some point in your journey. It’s the official Swim England database for meet results, personal bests, and—of course—rankings. Essentially, SwimmingResults.org centralises all sanctioned meets, making it incredibly easy to verify your official times and review past performances.
How It Works
Whenever you successfully complete an event at a licensed meet, your time is uploaded to the Rankings database. If you’re entering a Level 4 meet, you can do so without a pre-existing time. However, for Level 3 and above, meets typically have qualifying times (or sometimes “cut-off” times) that determine eligibility. When you submit entries for these meets, the Rankings system checks your times to confirm you meet the criteria.
Although anyone can search the database, our club also logs every swimmer’s short course (SC) and long course (LC) personal bests directly in Swim Manager, so you don’t have to hunt for them yourself. Swim Manager also manages the majority of meet entries, using the necessary qualification data.
As you progress in your swimming career, you may have the opportunity to enter higher-level meets such as Regional or National competitions. These often require direct entry through SwimmingResults.org.
