WNSC Spain Training Camp - 2025

West Norfolk Swimming Club was formed in 2009, following the merger of King’s Lynn Warriors and Downham & District Swimming Clubs. We welcome swimmers aged 7 and above, providing a supportive environment where everyone can reach their full potential. With over 180 members, we train at Alive St James Pool in King’s Lynn, Alive Downham Leisure in Downham Market, and Alive Oasis in Hunstanton—plus openwater sessions throughout spring summer at Pentney Lakes.

The Club has built a strong reputation for developing young swimmers through professional, structured coaching in a competitive and supportive setting. Our programme is designed to help every swimmer reach their full potential and enjoy the journey, ensuring they’re prepared to excel at Club, County, Regional, or National level.

Safeguarding & Welfare Resources

Safeguarding means making sure everyone feels safe, respected and supported at all times. Wavepower is Swim England’s safeguarding policy and procedures manual and it sets the national standards that we follow.

Your first point of contact is usually our Club Welfare Officer: welfare@westnorfolksc.co.uk. If you would rather speak to someone outside the club, you can go straight to Swim England’s safeguarding team.
